What did you like about our program?

The program was very informative.  The audience was delighted to be able to see animals that otherwise would be very difficult to see that close.

It was clear that the information given to the audience was educational, only good comments were given as feedback about this presentation.

What can we improve in future programs?

The only improvement that comes to mind would be to add more species of animals to be presented along with information as complete as the one we received in the presentation.

Additional Comments

A second presentation of CLAWS happened only four months after this one in the summer of 2006 at the same location. The size of the audience for this second presentation more than doubled in spite of being little publicized in the media, gathering an attendance of more than one hundred people.  Word of mouth is enough when a program is so well liked.

What did you like about our program?

The interaction with the students is great. The students want to be able to pet animals more than anything else, and with NC CLAWS students are able to do this with animals that they may never see anywhere else. The students and I also enjoy the level of information shared about the animals. The education is excellent.

What did you like about our program?

I love the fact that the programs are truly designed to educate.  The staff is armed with facts and ready and debunk myths.  The focus is on understanding the animals and their needs and on teaching kids about what they can do to both protect themselves and protect and help the animals.

What can we improve in future programs?

I was disappointed we are no longer allowed to  touch any of the animals, though I do understand that the welfare of the animals is paramount.

What did you like about our program? Diversity and variety of animals, thought provoking questions of audience, audience participation (no one is ever bored)

What can we improve in future programs? The only suggestion I have heard is to show additional sensitivity to persons afraid of animals (or who simply do not like them for whatever reason)

Additional Comments – The program opens the eyes as well as the heart and mind to the myriad of creature with whom we share planet earth
