After a one year hiatus from breeding the bettongs, little Miss Allira left the pouch on March 1, 2008!  She will be hand raised and go out for programs.  Hopefully, she will also get a husband of her own one day, when she is a big girl! Allira's first trip into her new pouch on March 1 Still deciding if she wants to go into that big pouch, after the small, cozy one she had with mom. Day two out of pouch, I'm starting to get my "land legs" Hey, what's that? This is my buddy, Kasha We hang out and watch TV together I give her very special kisses Sometimes I kiss her nose Then I do her hair Kasha loves me, can you tell? Allira with Daddy on March 8, 2008, she's now 178 whole grams! . Allira's first trip into her new pouch on March 1
